ThoroVet Veterinary Software Ends Partnership with Business Infusions, Moves Customer Service and Sales to New Internal Structure

For Immediate Release - June 18, 2020 (Houston, Texas):


ThoroVet, LLC, a Texas based technology company and developers of ThoroVet, a comprehensive cloud-based software system for Equine Veterinary Practitioners, announced today the transition of customer service and sales from Inova Group ULC, d/b/a Business Infusions, of Calgary, Canada into an internal structure within ThoroVet, LLC based in Houston, Texas, USA.

Effective June 19th, 2020, ThoroVet and Business Infusions will be mutually dissolving the customer service partnership with Business Infusions, immediately transitioning all sales and customer support internally within ThoroVet. This changeover will allow ThoroVet to nurture a direct relationship with users from start to finish during the sales process, on-boarding, and both customer and technical support.
ThoroVet will be launching a fully intuitive, user-friendly knowledge base site for support, complete with help documents, tutorials, frequently asked questions, training guides, and videos. This portal will be launched at the time of this release, while various features continue to be created and enhanced over the coming weeks, as well as a continual basis.

In addition, ThoroVet will be launching “Personal Support” through e-mail, chat, and by phone, which will give all users direct access to a customer support representative, including evening and weekend coverage options, resulting in a faster resolution of issues. Understanding the needs and unpredictable schedule of ambulatory equine veterinarians, ThoroVet will make it a priority to offer a broad range of customer support tools available around the clock, from the self-service knowledge base, chat feature, and personal assistance.

    As many know, hand sanitizer has been extremely difficult to find. We were able to secure a large quantity order of pocket size hand sanitizers. We are sending care packages to include an ample amount of sanitizers to all existing and new ThoroVet customers in the coming weeks, as a small way to help keep you and your staff safe, while still working in the field and performing farm calls.

What's New in ThoroVet Version 1.0804:

Web Updates:

1) Corrections to sales tax calculation to more closely match QuickBooks when numerous item invoices are generated.
 
2) Minor fixes to QB syncing for items and customers to prevent duplicates and errors.
 
3) Improvements to the “Sync All With QuickBooks” button so that all paid invoices are pushed to QB including payments made with Stripe.
 
4) Consolidate invoice and discharge summary emails so that one email is sent when there is a single invoice but many discharge summaries.

Mobile App:
 
1) Same corrections to sales tax calculations as the Web update.
 
2) Date selector improvement when settings reminders for vaccinations to quickly select dates far in the future.

What's New in the ThoroVet Mobile App:
  • On the day sheet and during a full SOAP, you can now change the quantity of a plan item, by touching the blue Quantity Box, then quickly scroll to the number you need. This replaces the original +/- button.
  • Replaced the swipe-to-delete evaluation option. You now go into an Evaluation, select Evaluation Details, then "Delete Evaluation" button to confirm.
  • Search tool enhancement when searching among customers, patients and evaluations.
  • You can now easily adjust the quantity when you add products/services to an invoice, outside of an evaluation.
  • Miscellaneous bug fixes and Sync enhancements

Version 0.30801 includes improvements and numerous system enhancements, including the following: 


  • Ability to add a microchip number in the markings section.
  • Ability to mark a patient as deceased.
  • QuickBooks™ Online integration improvements.
  • Sales tax enhancements: more flexibility in setting tax rates.
  • Data import/export improvements: added additional fields and handling of split ownership in patient import/export.
  • Enhanced search capabilities in the Mobile App.

How to Update Your ThoroVet App to the Newest Version From Your iPad
  1. Open the App Store. (If you're using iOS 12 or earlier, tap Today at the bottom of the screen.)
  2. Tap your profile icon at the top of the screen.
  3. Scroll down to see pending updates and release notes. Tap Update next to the ThoroVet app, or tap Update All.
How to Turn On Automatic Updates on Your iPad *Recommended*
On your iPad, go to Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store. Then turn on or turn off App Updates.
